Teak Toto collected three singles, two RBI and scored a run for Lawrence in its 6-3 win over Hamilton West in Hamilton.

Leading 4-0, Lawrence (19-7-1) scored two runs in the top of the sixth inning to extend its lead to 6-0.

Hamilton West (12-12) cut the lead with a three-run bottom of the seventh as Lawrence held on to win.

Aiden Poot pitched six innings for Lawrence, struck out eight while allowing five hits and three walks.

Poot scored two runs for Lawrence while Connor Crowley, Shane Mitchell and Seneca Sumners each scored one run.

Andrew Maddalena led Hamilton West by going 3-for-3 with a double, a walk and had one RBI. Peter Lanausse singled to bring in a run while Daniel Vergara, Jayden Jennings and Jeffrey Segura each scored a run.
