The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $146 million with a cash option of $65.6 million.
The winning numbers were: 9, 29, 31, 34 and 43. The Powerball drawn was 2, with a Power Play of 2X.
No one across the country hit Monday’s $135 million jackpot. There were also no second-prize, $1 million tickets sold.
In New Jersey, no one won more than $200 with a single ticket.
Monday’s winning numbers were: 13, 14, 37, 50 and 60. The Powerball drawn was 11, with a Power Play of2X.
In addition, no one won the secondary, $10 million Double Play drawing on Monday. Those winning numbers were: 11, 12, 27, 30 and 35. The Double Play number was: 7.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are more than 292 million to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers but not the Powerball and win a second-prize of at least $1 million.
The odds of winning a third prize of at least $50,000 are 913,129 to 1.
Powerball drawings are held each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot is worth an estimated $154 million with a cash option of $69 million.
