The Powerball jackpot for Monday’s lottery drawing has increased to an estimated $177 million, with a cash option of $77.8 million.
The winning numbers were: 47, 67, 13, 64, 52. Powerball: 25. Power Play: 2X.
No one across the country hit Saturday’s $167 million jackpot. There were also no second-prize, $1 million tickets sold.
In New Jersey, two third-prize tickets were sold — one worth $50,000 and one worth $150,000. State lottery officials will disclose where the tickets were sold on Tuesday. Each matched four numbers plus the Powerball.
Saturday’s winning numbers were: 12, 18, 28, 48, 52. The Powerball drawn was 5 with a Power Play of 3X.
In addition, no one won the secondary, $10 million Double Play drawing. Those winning numbers were: 25, 29, 50, 64 and 65. The Double Play numbers drawn was 3.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are more than 292 million to 1. A player who buys a ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers but not the Powerball and win a second-prize of at least $1 million.
The odds of winning a third prize of at least $50,000 are 913,129 to 1.
Powerball drawings are held each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot is worth an estimated $173 million, with a cash option of $75.7 million.
