Footage of a well-known comedian tussling with a fan at a bar has recently surfaced.

The comedian and podcaster, Theo Von, is shown grabbing a man by the neck after seemingly being antagonized at a Nashville bar on May 2 in a video shared by TMZ.

Von is seen standing in the Twelve Thirty Club on the Broadway strip in downtown Nashville when a man approaches him and a tense back-and-forth between the two ensues.

Von, 45, initially appears to want to be left alone. But seconds into the video, he grabs the man’s neck and shoves him back a few feet.

The men exchanged some more words before two women intervened and the video cuts off.

It is unclear what the men saying to each other during the video.

Sources who witnessed the situation told TMZ that the man, who is holding balloons in the video, had repeatedly harassed the comedian prior to the event shown in the video.

“The individual in question approached Von and then continued to harass and antagonize him and his guests and crossed the line with suspicious and threatening language and behavior,” a source close to the situation told Complex.

The “This Past Weekend” podcast host has yet to publicly comment on the matter.
