Anthony Palombit smacked a leadoff home run, doubled and collected three RBI for Roxbury in its 16-5 triumph over Montville in Roxbury.
Palombit sparked an eight-run bottom of the first inning after Roxbury fell behind, 1-0. Jaret Haupt tripled after Palombit tied the game and was brought home after Ryan Johannessen doubled.
Now leading 2-1, Frankie Falco stroked an RBI-single to extend the Roxbury lead. Palombit drove in two more with an RBI-double and Haupt smacked an RBI-single to cap the eight-run inning.
Haupt was 4-for-5 with three runs scored and collected two RBI for Roxbury. Johannessen was 3-for-5 with a walk, two RBI and a run scored while Joseph Ronchetta was 3-for-4 with two RBI, a walk and two runs scored.
Montville falls to 11-14.
