Mollie Ferreira was 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and scored two runs for Immaculata in its 6-1 win over Pope John in Sparta.

Leading 4-0 after the third inning, Immaculata (14-10) scored two more runs in the top of the fifth inning to take a 6-0 lead.

Pope John (14-6) scored a run in the bottom of the sixth inning when Amber Little smacked an RBI-single that drove in Grace Bobbie to cut the lead to 6-1 as Immaculata held on to win.

Maddie Falvey, who was 2-for-4 with two RBI, went the distance for Immaculata allowing three walks, four hits and one run.

Caroline Duffey was 1-for-3 for Immaculata with an RBI. Heather Ryden was 2-for-4 with a stolen base and two runs scored.

Abbey Davis was 3-for-4 with three singles for Pope John. Payton Richards walked twice and stole a base.
