Cops seek help finding N.J. teen missing nearly 2 weeks

Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing 15-year-old girl who hasn’t been seen for nearly two weeks.

Katyyah Rogers was last seen on Eastern Parkway near Varsity Road in Newark on May 14, according to Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda Sr.

She is 5 feet 5 inches tall, approximately 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, Miranda said in a press release.

Police said she is a frequent runaway.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Newark Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-695-8477. All tips are confidential and could result in a reward.
