Jaxon Motta went 2-for-3 with a triple, an RBI and two runs as second-seeded Haddon Heights held off 15th-seeded Seneca 9-6 in the first round of the NJSIAA South Jersey, Group 2 playoffs in Haddon Heights.

Richard Farruggia had two hits and two RBIs for the Garnets (15-9), who will host seventh-seeded Overbrook in the quarterfinals.
