Over half of the state saw homes sell in under a median of a month, according to the latest data from Realtor.com.

At a median of 19 days, homes in Morris County sold the fastest statewide in April. Somerset and Passaic followed with homes selling at a median of 23 days in both counties.

Homes in Cape May County sold the slowest at a median of 55 days.

According to a Redfin report, potential homebuyers are holding off on purchasing a home due to high home values.

In the report, Joe Paolazzi, a Redfin agent based in Pittsburgh, said, “Homeowners have been waiting for mortgage rates to go down or market conditions to improve.”
