Twelve New Jersey towns were ranked among the top 100 hottest real estate markets nationwide, according to Realtor.com

Of the New Jersey towns that made the list, Ridgewood in Bergen County had the hottest housing market in April and ranked third in the nation. A ZIP code in Montclair,07043, in Essex County and Basking Ridge in Somerset County, followed at 14 and 30, respectively.

Trumbull in Connecticut and Franklin in Massachusetts had the hottest markets in the nation.
